Wednesday, May 27

*8:01 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1900 block of Vincent Street regarding the report of a stolen vehicle.  According to the report, a male subject reported the theft of his vehicle to a BPD patrol officer.  The case was then forwarded to an investigator who determined that the vehicle had been involved in a crash in the 2800 block of Hwy 279, and that the vehicle was not stolen as reported, the report states.  A case of false report to police officer/law enforcement, a class B misdemeanor, was documented.

*8:49 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 600 block of 6th Street regarding the burglary of a habitation.  According to the report, this call led to the arrest of 18-year-old Harley Williams for criminal trespass.

Thursday, May 28

*3:50 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 200 block of Bluffview Drive regarding a “rolling disturbance” or domestic disturbance inside a moving vehicle.  According to the report, this call led to the arrest of 22-year-old Justin Don Lewis for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 20-year-old Kory Austin Lowrey of Brownwood on a Kendall County warrant related to possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 30-year-old Lacindia Kay Moore of Coleman on warrants related to failure to appear/possession of marijuana and criminal nonsupport.

*Bangs Police arrested 41-year-old Jessica DeLeesa Powell of Bangs on a warrant related to failure to appear.

All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Blotter information compiled from local law enforcement reports and jail records.
