TexasBank Holds Gift Basket Raffle to Benefit Brown County Relay for Life

CampfireBasketTexasBank employees are working to raise money for the 2015 Relay for Life of Brown County and have made several gift baskets that are being raffled off.

Tickets are being sold for $1.00 a piece, $5.00 for 6, or $10.00 for 13. These tickets are available at the main branch of TexasBank (located at 400 Fisk in Brownwood) now through May 21st. Winners will be chosen on May 22nd and contacted by Wednesday May 27th.  All proceeds benefit Relay for Life.”

Pictured left is the Campfire Basket, which is a $90 value, and includes a fire pit full of 8 roasting sticks, 2 flashlights, 2 lighters a Duraflame log, Hershey’s spread and chocolate bars, along with marshmallows and graham crackers.

The 2015 Brown County Relay for Life will be held on May 22nd from 7 p.m. until 1 a.m. at a new venue for the event, Longhorn Stadium in Early.  This year’s Relay will be in honor of Judy Day, who served as a counselor at Early ISD. This year’s co-chairs are Elaine Hall and Rick Phelps.

Relay for Life is the signature fundraising event of the American Cancer Society where individuals and teams walk/run overnight to show their commitment in the fight against cancer and to help raise money for cancer research and support.
