Mid-Tex Human Resource Management Association to Host Luncheon Thursday

MidTexHRMALogoThe Mid-Tex Human Resources Management Association has announced Texas Labor and Employment Law specialist, Lon Williams as their speaker for its May 14th luncheon.  All area Human Resource managers, small business owners, managers, supervisors, employee training and education specialist, and staffing agencies are invited to attend this informative lunch and learn session.

A counselor to businesses, and a respected employment lawyer, Lon Williams, from Polsinelli labor and employment law firm in Dallas will share some of his knowledge and experience related to day-to-day workforce challenges regarding compliance with the numerous employment-related federal and state laws and other workforce development issues.

These monthly luncheons are hosted by the Mid-Tex chapter in the Texas State Technical College Conference Room to help area business professionals network and grow their knowledge of trending employment benefit and salary strategies, talent management, law changes, and other resources to serve our local businesses.

This meeting will be held Thursday of this month, May 14th from 11:30 to 1:00 p.m. at TSTC. Lunch will be catered at a cost of $10.00 per person. To register for the event call Ruth Willis, the Mid-Tex HRMA Chapter President at Brownwood Chamber of Commerce to secure your place – 325.646.9535.
