Reminder: Saturday is Election Day

votebuttonElections for the Cities of Bangs and Bangs ISD, City of Blanket and Blanket ISD and the City of Brownwood got off to a slow start according to elections officials reporting just over 400 coming to the polls in early voting.

According to Assistant Elections Administrator Larry Franks, most of the elections received turnouts of less than 2% with the exception of the City of Blanket and Blanket ISD garnering 18.1% and 19.4% respectively of registered voters casting early ballots.

Voters are reminded that Election Day is set for Saturday, May 9th from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. at the following Brown County polling locations.

City of Bangs & ISD – Bangs Community Center, 406 Spencer, Bangs, TX 76823
