The Brownwood High School Student Council and Cross Notes Bible Study recently challenged BHS students to “Donate for Donuts.”  The Good Samaritan Food Pantry has been asking for canned good donations because of dwindling inventory.

The students of Brownwood High stepped up to the challenge.  Mrs. Young’s 1st period class donated 240 cans to win a donut party.  The combined efforts of all the Brownwood High School classes collected close to 1000 items for the Good Samaritan Ministries.

Currently the Good Samaritan Food Pantry is low on food like jerky, oatmeal packets, breakfast bars or protein bars, ramen noodles, canned stew, canned beans, saltine crackers and peanut butter. The food collected is used for Homeless Food Boxes.

If you would like to help by donating to Good Samaritan Ministries, call 325-643-2273 or take your donations by 305 Clark Street in Brownwood.
