1stPlaceGoatWilliesWinners of the April 25th – 1st Annual Rib Burn-Off were recently announced with Goat Willies BBQ winning the top prize.

The first place team consisted of cook Ray Scalf and team members Paul Coghlan and Miguel Mantos.  Pictured left center, Mantos was happy to know this 4 foot trophy (which was almost as tall as he is) would be his, said organizers.

The 2nd Place plaque went to Indio Slayer’s team, with cook Joe Castaneda and teammate Ruben Villarreal

The 3rd Place plaque went to Clarence Dust Bowl, with ribs cooked by Clarence McDowell.

Burn-Off organizers, the Juneteenth Committee, thanked all who participated and stated they look forward to an even bigger turn out next year.
