*1:20 PM – Brownwood Police were called to Walmart regarding theft. According to the report, a suspect had been identified by store associates but had then fled on foot. The suspect could not be located at the time of the call; however a report was completed for a warrant to be sought for his arrest, according to police.
*10:09 PM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the area of N. Broadway and N. Main Street which led to the arrest of Monty Lane and Alex Fischer, each charged with possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.
*11:23 PM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 100 block of Romines Street. According to the report, a silver colored van was parked facing traffic. The van pulled onto the roadway when the patrol vehicle passed it and then failed to signal a turn, the report states. This stop led to a citation being issued to the driver for possession of drug paraphernalia, according to the report.
*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to the report of the burglary of a habitation on FM 2559. According to the report, the burglary had already occurred and a large flat screen television was stolen from the residence.
*Brownwood Police arrested 26-year-old Alex Larue Fischer of Brownwood for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 47-year-old Ronda Renee Howell of Brownwood on a warrant related to delivery of a controlled substance.
* Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 30-year-old Josiah Andrew Huggins of Brownwood for tamper with identification numbers personal, and display wrong, fictional alter or obscure license plate.
* Brownwood Police arrested Monty Lane of Early for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.
*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 44-year-old James David Rogers of Goldthwaite on a parole warrant.
*Early Police arrested 24-year-old Alvie James Twomey of Brownwood on a McLennan County warrant related to assault.
