RandyThomasIn recognition of Small Business Week, May 3-9, the Early Chamber of Commerce will host a seminar on “Disaster Proofing Your Business.”

Randy Thomas Senior Business Consultant -Tarleton Small Business Development Center will present the program “Disaster Proofing Your Business- Things we can learn from Granbury, Moore, Oklahoma and West” from 12:15-1:15pm on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at the Early Chamber of Commerce.

Lunch will be severed starting at 11:30 AM.  Those who wish to attend are asked to RSVP by May 5th.

Each year disasters such as floods, hurricanes, tornadoes, and wildfires force thousands of businesses to close.  But even more common events, such as building fires, power outages and freeze damage cause the same result.  At least 25 percent of those businesses that close following these events do not reopen.  Thomas will present the program to show business owners how they can increase their chances of recovery through “Disaster Proofing Your Small Business.”
