Brownwood City Council Candidates Participate in Forum – Video

The Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce hosted a candidate forum on Friday, April 17th for those running for Brownwood City Council in the upcoming May 9th election.

Candidates were given up to 5 minutes to introduce themselves and then were able to give 60 second answers to several questions submitted the audience prior to the event. Leland Acker with KXYL-FM/AM served as moderator for the event.

Candidates for the Ward 2 council seat participating included Gary Bostick, Ed McMillian, Eddie Watson and Pat McLaughlin.

Candidates Larry Mathis and Jerry DeHay were also present and spoke at the event but are unopposed for their seats in the upcoming election.
