LECSmLaw enforcement arrests and reports released Friday, April 17, 2015.

Monday, April 13

*9:55 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 3800 block of US Hwy 377 South regarding a business trying to repossess property which is being hidden from the business.  A case of hindering secured creditor with possible charges is being investigated, the report states.

*11:24 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was called to Brookesmith Water Supply regarding a found explosive ordinance.  According to the report, the complainant had found what he thought was an unexploded land mine ordinance while he was clearing a pasture that is owned by Brookesmith Water Supply.

Tuesday, April 14

*1:14 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 100 block of N. Greenleaf regarding the burglary of a habitation.  According to the report, several items were removed from the home.  An investigation is ongoing.

Wednesday, April 15

*11:19 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1200 block of Avenue A regarding a domestic disturbance.

*5:35 PM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding an assault.  According to the report, the victim had been assaulted by a boyfriend when she tried to break up with him.

Thursday, April 16

*2:47 PM – Brownwood Police were called to a residence in north Brownwood regarding an alleged sexual assault.

*3:18 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1300 block of Campa Drive regarding alleged child abuse.  The incident is pending further investigation, the report states.

*10:30 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1400 block of Indian Creek Drive regarding a hit and run.  According to the report, a gray passenger car had struck the complainant’s pickup truck and left the scene of the accident.

*Brownwood Police arrested 56-year-old Rodney Tony Burns of Brownwood on a warrant related to driving while license invalid.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 31-year-old Albert Salazar of Brownwood on a warrant related to delivery of a controlled substance in a drug free zone.  Salazar was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bond as of Friday morning.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 23-year-old Arthur Villareal of Brownwood on a warrant related to motion to adjudicate/possession of a controlled substance intent to deliver drug free zone.

Friday, April 17

*Early Police arrested 22-year-old Sean Charles Stevens of Austin on a Travis County warrant related to motion to revoke /reckless driving.

All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Blotter information compiled from local law enforcement reports and jail records.
