The City of Brownwood invites the public to attend a dedication ceremony for the new fire station, located at 600 E. Adams Street on Tuesday, April 28th.

This special event will take place at 11:00 a.m. at the fire station and will include a flag ceremony as well as an uncoupling ceremony.  A special marker will be placed by the Masonic Lodge.

Fire apparatus will be escorted into the bay by those in attendance.

The Heart of Texas Honor Guard will be in full attendance with several bagpipers and drums.   City officials as well as the president of the Brownwood Professional Firefighters Association will also speak during the dedication.

There will also be a scrapbook presentation by a local citizen.   Allegiance Ambulance Service will be cooking lunch to celebrate the event.

Citizens are encouraged to attend this historic event.
