Danny Ray Knox

KnoxDavidDanny Ray Knox, age 60, resident of Brownwood for 10 years, went to meet his maker, his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, March 24, 2015.

Danny is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Karen Knox; two sons, Christopher Knox and wife Mandy, Timothy Knox and fiancée Amber Talamantez; and was expecting his first grandchild in September.

He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant brother; and grandparents.

Danny was born to Deward and Billie (Eugene) Knox on June 12, 1954 in Dallas, Texas. He attended Sunset High School in Oakcliff, Texas. Danny had 45 years of experience in the valve automation field, where he worked at Controls Int. He also worked at Romar Supply as an inside salesman, Lone Star Gas Company, and Horne Pipe and Supply. He will be dearly missed. We love him with all of our hearts. He may be gone, but never forgotten, Love you Pops.

A memorial service for Danny will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Blaylock Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bill Slaymaker officiating, a private interment will be held at a later date. Online condolences for the family are welcome at www.blaylockfuneralhome.com. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home.
