Roland Troy Hinesly

HineslyTroyRoland Troy Hinesly, 70, of Brownwood, TX was born February 6, 1945 at home in Blanket, TX to Monnie Lee Johnson Hinesly. He was called to heaven March 22, 2015.

He was a loving husband, father and pawpaw that could put a smile on your face on the rainiest of days.

He is survived by his wife Dorothy Hinsley, his brother Dan Hinesly of Lake Whitney, TX, five daughters: Cynthia Sullen and husband Olen of Andrews, TX; Debbie Bilbrey and husband Jessie of Rising Star, TX; Sandra Nelson of Odessa, TX; Donna Grissom and husband Bobby of Carbon, TX and Brenda Madsen and husband J.R. of Anchorage, AK, his eleven grandchildren: Pamela Billman and husband Robbie of Clifton, TX; Gwen Hollis of Rising Star, TX; Donna Jo Lewing and husband Ray of Odessa, TX; Bobbie Jo Lewis and husband Scott of Carbon, TX; Billy Grissom and wife Tana of Tuttle, OK; Michael Grissom of Carbon, TX; Terry Brown of Anchorage, AK; Trina Brown-Perez and husband Terry of Eastland, TX; Joshua Hinesly and wife Francie of Andrews, TX; Bridget Sullens-Lopez and husband Latcho of Andrews, TX, as well as, twenty-one great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

He was preceeded in death by his brothers Parker Hinesly and Randall “Bear” Hinesly, his sister Nettie Mae Whatley, his granddaughter Renea Carter and his great granddaughter Kaylee Lewis.

Graveside services will be held at Rising Star Cemetery on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at 10:30 AM. Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 24, 2015 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the Heartland Funeral Home in Early, TX.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made in his name to the American Diabetes Association at www.diabetes.org/Donate.
