Registration for Brownwood Freshman League Baseball Underway

Brownwood Freshman League baseball program invites youth ages 5-14 to join the fun this summer.  Registration is currently underway and will end in less than two weeks, on Wednesday, April 1.

The program is funded in part by local businesses, fundraisers, concession sales, and registration fees. Teams are separated into divisions of T-ball (5-6), Machine Pitch (7-8), 10U (9-10), 12U (11-12), and 14U (13-14).

The registration fee is $35 for one child.  CLICK HERE for registration form.  Families with two or more children ages 5-14, in the same household, & also playing baseball will pay $60.  If a family has 4 or more living in the same household will pay $75.  Any additional donations are gladly accepted.

Registration forms must be turned in at Weakley Watson or Hibbett’s in Brownwood by Wednesday, April 1st.  Late registration will be $75 per child and will be considered, but not guaranteed.  All fees must be paid with check or money order.  Forms without payment will not be accepted.

T-Ball (for 5 & 6-year-olds) will have no tryouts.  Players must be age 5 by August 1, 2015

8U, 12U & 10U Tryouts will be at 6:15 at Blue Fields Bert Massey Complex.  14 U will be on the Green Field.

Tryout Dates are as follows:

12U-Freshman   (11-12 year-olds)           Monday, April 6th

14U-Sophomore (13-14 year-olds)         Monday, April 6th

8U-Machine Pitch (7-8 year-olds)           Tuesday, April 7th

10U-Sr. Midget   (9-10 year-olds)            Thursday, April 9th
