Felony Offenders Sentenced in District Court

BrownCountyDistrictCourtLogoDistrict Attorney, Micheal Murray says that several felony cases were recently heard in Brown/Mills County District Court, Judge Stephen Ellis presiding.

Joshua Dewayne Smith pled guilty to the felony offense of Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity and was sentenced to 25 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.  Further, Smith pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance – Drug Free Zone and was sentenced to 5 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Brittany Rachelle Haynes pled guilty to the felony offense of Robbery and was sentenced to 15 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.  Further, Haynes pled guilty to the state jail felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to 15 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

Jesus Antonio Rivera pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver – Drug Free Zone and was sentenced to 15 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Johnny Fleet pled guilty to the felony offense of Driving While Intoxicated and was sentenced to 12 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Kristopher Scott Squyres pled guilty to the felony offense of Burglary of a Habitation and was sentenced to 10 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Henry Gary Allison, Jr., pled guilty to the felony offense of Assault Family Violence – Enhanced and was sentenced to 5 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.  Further, Allison, on probation for the felony offense of Assault Family Violence – Enhanced, was revoked and sentenced to 5 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Lawren Mark Riveire pled guilty to the felony offense of possession of child pornography and was sentenced to 2 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Brandon Payne pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to 15 months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
