The Annual Brown County Ag Day program is set for Tuesday evening March 31, 2015 at the Brown County Fairgrounds. The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. with an evening meal sponsored by Brown County Farm Bureau.

Dr. Charles Allen, Extension Entomology Leader/Assoc. Department Head will discuss sugarcane aphid and other insect pest management options.

Harold Shipman, Staytuff Fence Mfg., Inc. will discuss agricultural fencing, high tensile vs. traditional low carbon.

The Brown County Ag Day is being conducted by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service. Two Texas Department of Agriculture continuing education units will be offered. This program is open to anyone interested. There will be a $10 registration fee payable at the door. Pre-registration is requested in order to get an accurate meal count.
