Wednesday, February 18

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of theft from Hidden Valley Landscapes, located on High Mesa Drive.  According to the report, $5,549 worth of trees were purchased and picked up by a nursery out of Rockwall, Texas with a business check.  The check was later returned by the bank for insufficient funds, the report states.  Numerous unsuccessful attempts were made to collect the payment.

Tuesday, February 24

*4:59 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Terrace Drive regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, the suspect, identified as 49-year-old Raenita Lee Sawyer Smith of Early, was still on scene when officers arrived.  Sawyer was arrested for criminal mischief greater than $50 less than $500.

*Brownwood Police arrested 36-year-old Casey Alexander Durant of Early for a parole warrant.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 47-year-old Kory Lee Haines of Brownwood for assault causes bodily injury family violence.

*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 22-year-old Toni Alexandra Pinson of Brownwood on warrants related to ran stop sign, expired driver’s license and violate promise to appear.

Wednesday, February 25

*1:29 AM – A Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 1400 block of Avenue I.  This stop led to the arrest of 48-year-old Dennis Norrod of Brownwood for driving while intoxicated, according to the report.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 21-year-old Xavier Marcess Jamison of Brownwood on three warrants related to theft and failure to appear.

All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Blotter information compiled from local law enforcement reports and jail records.
