Revitalizing Our Community (ROC) will be sponsoring their annual Soul Food Luncheon on Wednesday, February 25th.

The luncheon will be held at the Bennie Houston Community Center, located at 505 Cordell in Brownwood.  The serving line will begin at 11:00 a.m.   Meatloaf and “tasty fixins” will be offered for a donation of $10 per plate.

Organizers said that over 400 people participated in the Soul Food luncheon.

ROC is involved in several community events including the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day parade, National Night Out, Soul Food Lunch, Trunk or Treat at the Bennie Houston Center, and several others.   They also help area youth get involved with civic and community development projects.
