Local Companies Support Heart Health Awareness

In support of the American  Heart Association, during February which is American Heart Health Awareness Month, staff members of local companies, schools and organizations are “Going Red for Women,” and showing their support by wearing red or special t-shirts.

Friday, February 20, 2015 marked Brownwood Regional Medical Center’s awareness of “Go Red for Women Day” celebrated by the American Heart Association.

To mark this day over 200 shirts were purchased and worn honoring awareness of Women and Heart Disease. Pictured above are many of the BRMC employees who participated.

Several Howard Payne University faculty and staff members are wearing special t-shirts each Friday in February in support of the American Heart Association’s “Go Red for Women” campaign for heart health awareness.
