TXBankPromotions2015

Greg Dodds, President and CEO of TexasBank, is pleased to announce the promotions of five officers including Janet Ogden, Brian Nelson, Jennifer Cornell, Lisa Clawson and Delia Cullins. Together these employees hold over 30 years of tenure with TexasBank.

“We are proud to have quality professionals like Janet, Brian, Jennifer, Lisa and Delia on the TexasBank team”, Dodds stated.  “These promotions are well deserved.  Their hard work and dedication has enabled us to continue serving the needs of our customers while meeting a seemingly ever-increasing and overwhelming regulatory burden.  Each of them also continues to participate and invest their time in the communities in which they live which falls directly in line with the core values of TexasBank.”

Janet Ogden was promoted to Senior Vice President of Retail Services from Vice President of Retail Services.  Janet worked at the bank through her high school and college years and joined full-time in 2002. She is a 1997 graduate of Brownwood High School and a 2001 graduate of Tarleton State University.  She is a board member for the United Way of Brown County and is a member at Salt Creek Baptist Church.  She and her husband Alan have a son, Graham.

Brian Nelson was promoted to Vice President of Compliance from Compliance Officer. He has been with the bank since 2011.  Brian is a 1995 graduate of Texas Christian University and a 2010 graduate of Howard Payne University.  Brian and his wife Kim reside near Zephyr, and enjoy spending time with their horses, John the Baptist and 2Go.

Jennifer Cornell was promoted to Assistant Vice President of Human Resources from Human Resources Director.  Jennifer has been with the bank since 2014. She is a graduate of Vernon College, and is currently pursuing her Masters of Science in Human Resource Management at Tarleton State University. She and her husband Ronald have a daughter, Rhionna, and two sons Cameron and Cody and his wife Shelby.

Lisa Clawson was promoted to Assistant Vice President of Financial Accounting from Financial Accounting Officer.  Lisa graduated from Tarleton State University with her BBA in Accounting in 2001 and has been with TexasBank since 2002. She and her husband Michael have one daughter, Kasey, and a son, Trevor Ray.

Delia Cullins was promoted to Assistant Vice President of Operations from Operations Officer.  Delia joined TexasBank in 2010. She is a 2002 graduate of Angelo State University.  She and her husband Shawn have two children, Jacob and Jared.

TexasBank offers a portfolio of products that rivals the big banks along with the service that only a true community bank can provide. This philosophy has resulted in significant growth in TexasBank’s total assets, deposits and loans over the last several years.  Chartered and headquartered in Brownwood, TexasBank operates in 4 counties through 8 standalone branches. TexasBank is an Equal Housing Lender and Member FDIC.
