RickPhelpsJan2015Early Chamber of Commerce’s Ambassador Club has named Rick Phelps the Ambassador of the Month for January, 2015.

Rick Phelps keeps the road hot between Brownwood, Bangs and Early each and every day. Phelps is a Bangs City Councilman, the News Director at KOXE Radio Station in Brownwood, the Chair for Mayfest Festival in Bangs, the Co-Chair for Relay for Life and is on the Big Brothers Big Sisters Board of Directors.

Phelps finds the time to participate in planning the Early Citywide Yard Sale which will be held on April 11, 2015 and plans the Early-In-Action Group’s activities where interested citizens come together to network, meet new people and listen to an informative speaker during a breakfast meeting.

The next Early-In-Action meeting will be held on March 18th at 7:15 AM at LaBotana Mexican Food and will feature speaker Beverly Norris, Vice President of Brown County Museum of History Board of Directors and the Display Manager of the Museum.

Phelps has been an Early Chamber of Commerce Ambassador since April, 2014.
