Sandra Lynn Hernandez-Meador was born August 14, 1960, in Galveston, Texas, to Josh and Ernestine Hernandez. Sandra attended Coggin Avenue Baptist Church of Brownwood. She was employed with Kroger’s for over 20 years where she worked as a bookkeeper. Sandra was a loving and devoted daughter, wife, mother and grandmother. Sandra will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Sandra is survived by her husband, Jerry Don Meador; her daughter, Kristen Marie Meador; her grandson, Julian Murray; her father, Josh Hernandez, Sr.; two brothers, Josh Hernandez Jr. and Jimmie Hernandez III; and sister, Lauren Hernandez.

Sandra was preceded in death by her mother, Ernestine Hernandez.

The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date, with Davis-Morris Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Hernandez-Meador passed away Monday, February 9, 2015, in Houston.
