Minnie Lucille Mullins Moore

Moore_minnieMinnie Moore, 90, of Brownwood, passed away February 7, 2015 at a local nursing home. Funeral services, under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home, will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday February 11, 2015, at the Heartland Funeral Home in Early with Chaplain Steven Baker officiating. Interment will follow at the Eastlawn Memorial Park in Early. The family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday February 10th at the funeral home.

Minnie Lucille Mullins was born December 5, 1924, in Haskell, TX to Pink M. and Mary Elizabeth (Smith) Mullins. She was the 14th of 17 children. She married Raymond Moore October 5, 1945, a marriage that lasted 53 loving years! She did her part in World War II building the P-51 Mustang airplanes, later she worked at Texas Glove Factory. Her world was her family and she loved them very deeply. She loved to cook and had a green thumb growing everything!

Minnie is survived by three sons, Jimmy Lynn Moore of Brownwood, David Andrew and Terri Moore of Fort Worth, Darrell Andrew and Nancy Moore of Early; brother, Holman Mullins of Alverado; sisters, GrachelLebkowsky of Waco and Brittie Lois McDonald of Eastland; 12 grandchildren, Gary, Jamie Lou, Kerri, Jerry, Jennifer, Scott, Brandy, Cody, Chase, BrieAnn, Jeanie, and Julie; 21 great grandchildren, and thre great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, 9 brothers, and 5 sisters.
