Local attorney Todd Steele recently spoke with Early Middle School eighth grade L.I.F.T. students about defamation, including libel and slander, as the students prepare for the Texas Future Problem Solving Program state qualifier over the topic propaganda.

In addition, Mr. Steele also spoke with the students about aspects of the criminal justice system including the difference between criminal and civil cases and what it means for a case to reach a settlement or for there to be a judgment.
