FosterCraigA memorial service for Craig Foster, 48, of Brownwood, will be held at 3 pm on Saturday, January 24, in the Netherton Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Brian Hall officiating. Visitation will begin at 2 pm, prior to the service.

Craig passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2015, at Brownwood Regional Medical Center.

Craig Leon Foster was born on August 3, 1966, in Dallas, Texas to John David Foster and Anita Kaye (Bryant) Foster. He graduated from Westwood High School in Round Rock and on August 29, 2007, he married Tammy Coyle in Brownwood.  Craig had lived in Brownwood for the last 13 years, moving here from Dallas and had worked for Superior Essex for the last ten years.  In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, and playing cards and dominoes, but what he loved most was his family time with Tammy and the girls. He was a loving husband and a doting “Papa” and will be missed by all that knew and loved him.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Tammy Foster; his mother and father Anita Kay Foster and John David Foster; children Craig William Trautman and wife Noni, J.D. and Jennifer Fleming, Denise Wynn and Daniel Joyce; grandchildren, Ridgeley Johnson, Billy Lovely, Chloe McNair, Sara and Remington Joyce, Shawna Fleming and Madison Lawrence; sister Amy Henderson and husband Randy; and Aunts and Uncles, Karen and Terry Schleuse and Carol Lamphier.  He is also survived by his cousins, Mark and Heather Yarbrough, Kirk and Lisa Buchanan, and Judy, Richard and Bruce Lamphier as well as a niece and nephew, Alyx and AJ Henderson.

He was preceded in death by his MeMa and PePa, C.L. and Juanita Bryant and grandparents, Truman and Johnnye Foster. He was also preceded in death by an uncle, Fred Lamphier and his biological father, Albert Cartledge.

Memorials, if desired can be made to the local AA Chapter.

Family and friends are invited and encouraged to sign the online guestbook at www.nethertonfuneralhome.com.
