SingletaryFuneral services for Dorothy Nell Singletary, 74 of Brownwood, TX will be 2:00 P.M., Saturday January 17, 2015 in the Rocky Creek Baptist Church with Rev. David Williams officiating.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Friday, January 16, 2015 in the Davis-Morris Funeral Home.

Mrs. Singletary went to be with her Lord in Heaven Sunday afternoon, January 11, 2015 in Webster, Texas.

She was born October 27, 1940 to Billy Levelle and Rosa Martha CrownoverPilcher in Gorman, Texas. She married Johnny W. Singletary in Eunice, New Mexico, April 25, 1957.   She was a homemaker, and had lived in Brownwood, TX for the last 23 years and spent the last year with her daughters in Pearland, TX. She was a member of the Rocky Creek Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughters Patricia Ann Singletary and Teresa Lanell Winkler both of Pearland, Texas; and son and daughter-in-law, Johnny Allen and Gale Singletary of Weatherford, Texas, eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one brother and three sisters, Nelsie Faye and husband Loy Miller of Zepher, Texas; Geneva Osborn of Muskogee, Oklahoma; W. Jack and wife Nadine Pilcher of San Angelo, Texas; and Juanita and husband Stanley Cox of Lamesa, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Billy Levelle and Rosa Martha CrownoverPilcher; husband Johnny Woodrow Singletary; brothers, John HughellPilcher, Edgar Allen Pilcher, and Billy Claude Pilcher; son-in-law Paul Houston Winkler.

In lieu of flowers, family request donations to Rocky Creek Baptist Church, St. Judes, or the charity of your choice.
