Dale Elmer Wade, age 62, Brownwood passed away Monday, December 15, 2014.

Funeral Services for Dale will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 19, 2014, at Blaylock Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ward Hayes officiating, private interment at a later date. Visitation for the family will be Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Blaylock Funeral Home.

Dale was born February 1, 1952, to Elmer and Marian (Allen) Wade in Odessa, Texas. Dale retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone; he worked as a Lineman. Dale loved his granddaughter, Madyson, and enjoyed coaching her softball team, He was a phenomenal grandfather.

Dale is survived by his wife, Karen Wade of Brownwood; son, Paul Wade of Odessa; daughter, Erin Wade of Brownwood; granddaughter, Madyson Wade; stepson, Daniel Feemster and wife Renee of Stephenville; brother, Jerry Wade and wife Karen of Austin; sister, Jeanette Cox and husband Dwaine of Odessa. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Marian Wade.
