Members of the Pecan Valley Kiwanis Club and members of the Early High School Key Club picked up non-perishable food items from the Early High School and the Early Middle School last Friday morning.

Students and faculty at both schools have been gathering these food items over the past couple of weeks.

The Pecan valley Kiwanis Club will combine this food with that gathered through Brookshire’s grocery store’s Christmas food project and assemble boxes of food to be distributed to some of those less fortunate in the Brownwood/Early area during this Christmas season.

Brookshire’s is also contributing a hen for each box of food. The boxes will be distributed next weekend.
