Karen Jackson Reiger, age 57, of Zephyr, passed away December 7, 2014 at Brownwood Regional Center.

Karen was born October 4, 1957 to Wiley and Rachel Jackson in Plainview, Texas.

Karen loved caring for children and worked for New Horizons for many years, she was a devout Christian that loved gardening, flowers cooking, animals and most of all pulling pranks. She married David Reiger on May 10, 1991 in Dumas, Texas.

Karen is survived by her husband David Reiger of Zephyr, granddaughter/daughter Chadra Towler of Zepher; son Bryon Towler and wife Rachel of North Carolina; granddaughter Alyssa Tolwer; grandson Joseph Towler; father Wiley Jackson of Lubbock; sister Debra Pate and husband Bryce of Prosper; brother Jerry Jackson and wife Dawn of San Antonio; brother Steve Jackson and wife Angie of Killeen. She was preceded in death by her mother Rachel Jackson and a son Chad Towler.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday,December 10, 2014 in the Blaylock Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. David Barnum officiating, interment will follow in the Zephyr Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday evening at Blaylock Funeral Home. The family requests in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to the Brownwood Professional Firefighters Association 809 Main, Brownwood, Texas 76801.  Online Condolences can be left at www.blaylockfuneralhome.com  Arrangements under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.
