“The Christmas Festival is becoming a great family tradition for Brown County,” said Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce executive director Ray Tipton.   “We have several new components added to this year’s event along with some of the community favorites.”

Funnel Cakes and hot chocolate are a few of the tasty treats to try while the while visiting Santa and Mrs. Claus.   This year will also include the Treats for Santa Bake-off competition and a new component, Big Wheel Races for kids and adults.

The Big Wheel races will take place in the parking lot of the Depot Plaza and will offer Big Wheels for adults and kids.  Races will be $5 for 2 races.

The Brownwood ice skating rink will also continue through the event on Friday and Saturday.  Cost is $2 per person for a 20 minute skating session.  Ice skates are included in the price.

The Lehnis Railroad Museum will offer live entertainment from local talent as well as a Christmas train display and mini-train rides available.
