Reminder: Brownwood and Early Thanksgiving Holiday Trash Pick Up Schedules

CityofBrownwoodlogo_smallIn observance of the Thanksgiving Holidays, Brownwood City Hall will be closed and there will be no collection of residential waste on Thursday or Friday, November 27th and 28th, 2014.  Residents with blue or green carts, please note that your collection days are as follows:

  • Thursday’s routes will be collected on Wednesday November 26th.
  • Friday’s routes will be collected on Saturday November 29th.

The Recycling Center and Landfill will be closed on Thursday and Friday November 27th and 28th and will reopen on Saturday November 29th.

The City collects bulky items including brush and tree limbs from residential customers at no charge, please cut them into lengths of 5 feet or less and notify the Sanitation Department at 643-4200 or send an email to SanitationDepartment@ci.brownwood.tx.us

For problems related to water or sewer service within the City of Brownwood, customers may call 646-6000, 24 hours per day 7 days per week.

Early City Hall will also be closed Thursday, November 27th and Friday, November 28th for Thanksgiving.  Trash routes for Thursday will be picked up on Wednesday, November 26th and trash routes for Friday will be picked up on Monday, December 1st.
