PierceBetty Joyce Pierce, age 81, of Crews, Texas, passed away from this life surrounded by loved ones to be with her Lord and Savior on November 18, 2014 in Bangs, Texas.

A memorial service will be at 2 PM on Monday, November 24, 2014 at the Hopewell Baptist Church in Crews, Texas

Betty was born in Flint, Texas on March 4, 1933 to Vincent and Buna Williams.  She was the youngest of five children.  She married the love of her life, Joe Eldon Pierce on December 21, 1968.  As a young women living in Midland, Texas she worked as a teller at First National Bank.  Betty later worked for Monarch Tile as a sales associate before becoming a Real Estate agent and eventually retiring from Remax Reality.  She and Joe also farmed and ranched for many years in Tom Green and Runnels Counties. 
She is survived by her son Richard McCullough and wife Anna of Bangs, Tx; two step daughters, Deborah Ticer and husband John of Midland, Tx, and Jenny Kading and husband Todd of Coleman; six grandchildren, Heather, Mindy, and Kayla McCullough, Debi Masters and husband Mick, Zachary “Pierce” Doyle and Kaeli Kading; seven great grandchildren, two neices and some very dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Solaris Hospice of Brownwood or Hopewell Baptist Church in Crews.
