LynnMarvin Lee Lynn, 61, of Brownwood, passed away unexpectedly on Monday November 17, 2014.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. on Thursday November 20th in the Netherton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Gary Day officiating. Interment will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm today, Wednesday, November 19, at the funeral home.

Marvin was born February 10, 1953, in Odessa, TX, to Kenneth Reed and Dorothy Marie (Musick) Lynn. Marvin came to Brownwood with his parents when he was 4 ½ years of age. During his school years, he attended several different schools, Brownwood, Blanket, Early, and Zephyr. In 1974, Marvin married the love of his life, Paula Ledlow. His working years were spent in the oil fields, construction as a brick layer, and on the maintenance crew operating heavy equipment for Brown County where had worked for almost 31 years. Marvin was lover of fishing and gardening but most of all he was a horseman. He enjoyed riding and breaking horses and was transporter of his daughter to rodeos. When she entered the arena, he would lead the entire family cheering loud and long.

Marvin is survived by his wife of 40 years, Paula; daughter, Jennifer Franks and husband Damon, Sr.; sons, Jason “Vic” Lynn, Jeff Lynn and Tommy Miller, Jeremy Lynn and wife Eden; 13 grandchildren; sister, Carolyn Elam, Wanell Packer, Tina Gresham, Loretta Lynn, and Geretta  Reager.

He was preceded in death by parents, Kenneth and Dorothy Lynn; brother, Larry Reed Lynn; sister, Wanda Stewart; and nephew, Cory Townsen.

Family and friends are invited and encouraged to sign the online guestbook at www.nethertonfuneralhome.com
