ANightAtTheRaces2014The Caring Family Network announces their 5th Annual “A Nite at the Races” event is set for Saturday, November 15, 2014 at The Depot Cultural and Civic Center in Brownwood and ticket sales are underway.  The event offers  a fun and exciting night out for guests and sponsors, including door prizes, a hat contest, dinner & drinks, pre-recorded thoroughbred horse racing, live & silent auctions, and live music by the Aaron Sandoval Band.  The public is invited to attend.

This fundraiser is the organization’s major fundraiser each year.  Sponsorships of the event and donations of items for the silent auction are now being sought.

Sponsor a horse for $20 by naming the horse and pick what number he runs in his race (possibly your lucky number).  Tickets are available for purchase until the day of the event at Caring Family Network’s office at 114 Early Blvd., Wendlee Broadcasting, KOXE, or from any CFN staff for $65 per person or $100 a couple.  Reserved seating is also available for $350 for 4 people or $750 for 8 people with signage.  Those attending must be 21 or older.

For more information about the event and becoming a sponsor or to make a donation, contact April Conway at 325-646-3222, email aconway@cfntexas.com or check the event’s facebook page.
