The BRMC Walker Cancer Center Patient Assistance Fund recently received a donation from the Bad Boys & Bad Girls Motorcycle Social Group from a fundraiser hosted by the group. The group’s officers were on hand to present the check to the BRMC Walker Cancer Center Patient Assistance Fund to several BRMC staff members.

The fund provides assistance to local patients who may be in need of gas vouchers, medicine vouchers and many other needs that may be causing stress during their treatments.  If you or your organization would like to donate, please contact Gail Hightower at 649-5000.

“Donations from organization such as this make a huge impact on the money we may be able to provide to cancer patients in our area since the American Cancer Society does not assist patients much in this area,” said BRMC Marketing Director Donna Hair. “Most of the ACS money raised does not assist patients in our area because we are rural.”
