FarrowLarry D. Farrow, 69, of Brownwood, passed away on October 3, 2014. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Davis-Morris Funeral Home. A celebration of Larry’s life will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, October 8, at the funeral home.  Interment will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park in Early.

Larry Donal Farrow was born to Donal P. Farrow and LaRue Wilkerson Farrow in Gorman on June 5, 1945. He served in the U.S. Army from May 5, 1971 to Feb. 3, 1973 attaining the rank of E4. He and his wife Sandy Farrow were well known to many diners in the community as the owners of the Section Hand Steakhouse on Highway 377 in Brownwood. He came to Brownwood in 1981, opened the steakhouse and has been serving the local community as well as those passing through for over 30 years. Larry was also an avid hunter as evidenced by the many species of game he had displayed in his restaurant over the years.

Larry is survived by his sons, Rusty Farrow and his wife Misty, Dusty Farrow, Don Farrow and Jackie Koerner, Cody Strube and his wife Molly, as well as their daughter Jana and her husband Dane Martin; brother, Doyle Randall Farrow and wife Judy; and a sister, Sharon Walker.

Also left to cherish his memory are his grandchildren, Ashtin, Charity, Chris, Brandon and Skylar Farrow;  Kyle, Leslie, Amanda, Hank, Jeff, Misty, Cassy Jo, Tarrant, Cassie Lee and Justin Chase; his five great- grandkids; and several nieces and nephews.

Larry was preceded in death by his father, Donal Farrow; mother, Roxie Farrow; Jacob Odell, Brent Cogburn, and Crystal Cogburn.

The family requests memorials be made to the West Texas Boys Ranch in San Angelo. Larry worked there for a time and has considered the boys’ ranch a special place in his life.

Davis-Morris Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  Online condolences may be left at www.davismorrisfuneralhome.com.
