The Brownwood Kiwanis Club recently presented a check to the Girls Scouts in an amount of $825.00.

Receiving the check on behalf of the Girl Scouts, and pictured above are Nancy King (middle) and Lana Webb (left).  Kiwanis President Dennis Graham is also pictured presenting the check.

Each year, the Brownwood Kiwanis Club donates funds to several youth organizations in Brown County.  These funds are generated through the Kiwanis’ annual Pancake Supper.  All funds raised through the supper remain here in Brown County supporting local youth organizations.

“When you invest in a pancake ticket you are investing in our youth and our future leaders,” said Graham.

The Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world, one child and one community at a time.

The 62nd Kiwanis Pancake Supper will be held from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on November 4th, Election Day, at the Brownwood Coliseum.

Tickets are available for $6 each and may be purchased from any member of the Brownwood Kiwanis.
