Fundraiser for 9-Year-Old Josh Diaz Offered at Chili’s Thursday

Chili’s of Brownwood asks the public to help them support 9-year-old Josh Diaz of Brownwood and his family as they prepare for his impending open heart surgery.  Josh is the son of Josh (Sr.) and Destiny Diaz of Brownwood.  He is also the grandson of martial arts instructor Augustine Lopez.

A Chili’s Give Back event is set for this Thursday, October 2nd, from 10:45 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.  During this event, the public is invited enjoy a meal and know that 20% of the event day meals will be given back to the Diaz family.  Diners simply need to tell their server that they are dining to support the Josh Diaz fundraiser.  No Give Back certificate is necessary.

Some of Chili’s servers are also giving back.  Thomas Berger, Jeina Hooker and Mackenzie Brown are donating all of their tips for the day to Josh.
