Registration is Underway for the Early Pioneer Day 5K or DYE Run October 18th

EarlyPioneerDays2014LogoThe Early Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for their annual Pioneer Days featuring a 5K or DYE Run at 8:00 a.m. on October 18th.

Early Registration is $25.00 for the 5K and $35.00 for the DYE Run.  Registration on the day of the event will be $35 for the 5K and $45 for the DYE Run.  Click here for registration form.  Please mail registration form and a check payable to Early Chamber of Commerce to 104 E. Industrial Drive, Early, Texas 76802 or fax to 325-643-4746.  Visa and MasterCard payments are also available.  Entries received by October 1st are guaranteed a t-shirt.

The 8:00 a.m. race will be timed by Race Day Event Services.   The race will start & finish at the Early Chamber of Commerce where parking is available.  The Dye Run is a chip timed 5K event that adds a bit of fun by setting up color stations where volunteers throw color powder onto the participants as they pass through each station.  The colored powder is a non-toxic, biodegradable food grade colored cornstarch.

There will be a split in the course for those who do not want to be colored.

Prizes will be awarded to the overall top male/female, top 3 in each age group and the winning team entry.  Age groups are 10 & Under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & Older. (Teams consist of 3-5 members from a business/group/family. Top 3 times will count).
