Clayton W. Henderson went to be with the Lord on September 18, 2014 at the age of 67 in Temple, Texas. A memorial service will be held at a later date and arrangements are under the directions of the Heartland Funeral Home in Early.

Clayton was born on June 8, 1946 in Big Spring, Texas to Jesse and Alvena Johnson Henderson.  He served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam and was honorably discharged on July 15, 1969.  He was married to JoAnn Smart and was a retired electronics engineer.

Survivors include his wife JoAnn Henderson; his brother Eddie Henderson; his brother-in-law J.T. Gray; children Diane Blevins, Michelle Pinkston, Lisa Wehlmann and husband Wesley and Amanda Keith.  10 grandchildren Chelsea, Alanis, Hunter, Caitlin, Abagale, Whitney, Taylor, Charity, Brent and Austin; his niece Lori Laird and husband Dustin and by many cousins.  He had many friends and will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Nina Gray and son-in-law Terry Keith.
