The Brownwood Reunion Celebration began Friday with thousands of people arriving in the downtown area for the first day of activities, music, and fun.

The highlight for day one was the Friday night concert on the main celebration stage that featured Texas country star Pat Green (pictured at top).  Friday also saw the start of the Hands on a House competition, the opening of the Classic Car Show, and Kids Zone, the BBQ cook-off, the Pride of Texas Midway, the opening reception of the Community Art Show, other live music, vendor booths, lots of food, and much more.

Saturday will kick in high gear with non-stop attractions, contests, and more music featuring country music’s Restless Heart.
