Brownwood Police responded to a three vehicle accident with no injuries Tuesday morning.

The accident occurred at the traffic light at W. Commerce, at the entry to Commerce Square at approximately 9:15 a.m.

According to emergency responders, a Ford Escape was being towed by a Chevrolet pickup and was stopped at the light in the westbound lanes, when a Dodge pickup failed to stop and rear-ended the Escape.  The impact of the collision forced the Escape onto the truck that was towing it, making the accident appear much worse, according to witnesses on scene.

Brownwood Police reported that all three occupants of the vehicles were uninjured.  The truck had been towing the Escape to have the motor repaired, according to emergency responders.
