Felony Offenders Sentenced in District Court

BrownCountyDistrictCourtLogoDistrict Attorney Micheal Murray released a list of felony cases recently heard in Brown/Mills County District Court, Judge Stephen Ellis presiding.

John Simon Armendarez pled guilty to the felony offenses of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver and Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity and was sentenced to 40 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

John Phillip Couch pled guilty to the felony offenses of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver-Drug Free Zone, Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver, Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to 40 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Enrique Abraham Pesina pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver and was sentenced to 25 years Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Auston Rand Welker pled guilty to the felony offenses of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver-Drug Free Zone, Delivery of a Controlled Substance-Drug Free Zone and Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity and was sentenced to 25 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Kevin Sliger pled guilty to the felony offenses of Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity and was sentenced to 25 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.  Further, Sliger pled guilty to the felony offenses of Evading Arrest and Possession of a Controlled Substance-Drug Free Zone and Tampering with or Fabricating Physical Evidence and was sentenced to 10 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

George Alford Ford pled guilty to the felony offense of Tampering with or Fabricating Physical Evidence and was sentenced to 25 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.  Further, Ford pled guilty to the felony offenses of Theft- Enhanced and Theft over $1500 under $20,000 and was sentenced to 10 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Ericton Carnell Franklin pled no contest to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance-Drug Free Zone and was sentenced to 25 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Christina Gomez pled guilty to the felony offense of Deliver of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to 15 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Eric Jones pled guilty to the felony offense of Delivery of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to 15 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Steven Cliff Perkins pled guilty to the felony offense of Unlawful Possession of Firearm and was sentenced to 5 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Valentina Chelette pled guilty to the felony of Possession of a Controlled Substance-Drug Free Zone and was sentenced to 4 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Stephen Wayne Meade pled guilty to the felony offense of Driving while Intoxicated and was sentenced to 3 years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
