Sunday, August 31

*3:02 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a property on Chaparral Drive in Brownwood regarding harassment.  According to the report, a known suspect had been sending inappropriate messages and photos.

Monday, September 1

*4:14 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2100 block of 9th Street regarding a domestic disturbance.

Tuesday, September 2

*10:15 AM – Brownwood Police responded to the 1800 block of Belle Plain Street regarding the burglary of a coin operated machine.

*2:33 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1900 block of Brady Avenue regarding the burglary of a habitation.

*5:18 PM – Brownwood Police were called to Walmart.  According to the report, a male subject was detained for theft and the Travis County Sheriff’s Office had two outstanding warrants for the male, identified as 27-year-old Daniel Castaneda, Jr.  of Corpus Christi.  Castaneda was arrested for theft of property equal or greater than $50 less than $500 and for the two warrants related to bail jumping and failure to appear and theft of property equal or greater than $50 less than $500.

*8:00 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 500 block of Main Street regarding theft.

*11:10 PM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 2300 block of Main Blvd. According to the report, during the course of the stop, a small quantity of marijuana as well as Hydrocodone and Xanax were located in the vehicle.  The driver of the vehicle, 49-year-old Samantha Marie Hellinger of Brownwood, was arrested for the offenses of possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces and possession of a controlled substance penalty group 3 less than 28 grams.

*Brownwood Police arrested 28-year-old Ari Nicole Harden of Brownwood on warrants related to expired motor vehicle inspection and theft of property equal or greater than $50 less than $500 (Clay County).

*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 30-year-old Jessica Dawn Netherton of Brownwood on a warrant related to failure to appear.

All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Blotter information compiled from local law enforcement reports and jail records.
