Emergency responders were called to the scene of a fatal motorcycle accident Monday morning near May which took the life of a man and injured his wife.

The accident occurred at approximately 8:25 a.m. on FM 1689 about 2 miles from May when the motorcycle left the roadway, killing Billy Ray London, Jr. of May, according to law enforcement officials.  His wife, who was reported by Texas Department of Public Safety to have non-life threatening injuries, was transported to Brownwood Regional Medical Center.

London was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash by Justice of the Peace Bob Wall.

Texas Department of Public Safety, Brown County Sheriff’s Office, May Volunteer Fire Department and Allegiance Ambulance responded to the scene of the accident.
