Brownwood Lions fans were introduced to the 2014 fall sports teams for Brownwood High School at Gordon Wood Stadium Monday evening.  The annual “Meet the Lions” event began with a hamburger supper and booster club fundraising time as fans were greeted with some great food to start the fall sports season.

Athletes and their coaches from cross country, volleyball, tennis, and football were recognized along with the cheerleading squads, the Lionettes drill team, and the Lion Crew.  The Mighty Maroon Marching Band was also on hand showing off their musical talents.

The Brownwood Lions varsity football team was introduced as the grand finale to the event.  The Lions will play their next game against the Graham Steers this Friday night at Gordon Wood Stadium at 7:30 PM.

Brownwood News wishes a great season to each athlete, coach, and team as the season for all fall sports gets underway.
