Brownwood Independent School District announced Tuesday that no challengers filed for seats on the Board of Trustees.  With no contested races, current board members who have filed will remain on the board and no election will be necessary according to BISD officials.

Board members whose places were up for election and who have filed to remain on the board include:

Michael Cloy – Place 1

Roderick Jones, Sr. – Place 3

Dr. Lisa Fowler – Place 6

Tim Jacobs – Place 7
