Charles Dee Pickett

pickettCharles Dee (Charlie) Pickett, age 59, of Comanche, Texas passed away Friday, August 8, 2014 in Kerr County from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.  A meal will be served at noon on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at the Comanche City Park Pavilion with a Celebration of his life to follow.  Cremation is under the direction of the Heartland Funeral Home of Early.

Charles Dee was born on December 9, 1954 in Fort Worth to Guin Dee and Loretta Wilson Pickett.  He was employed as a manager for a wildlife ranch.  Charles loved Rodeos, Stock Shows and softball with his kids.

He is survived by his son Travis Pickett of Austin; daughters LinDee Rinehart and husband Curt of Snyder and Kaylee Pickett of Comanche;  his mother Loretta Pickett of Lometa; two sisters Jaime Glosson of Kingsland and Patty Pickett of Lometa; four grandchildren Rylee, Rikki, Klete and Summer; three nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his father Guin Dee Pickett.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Charlie Pickett Memorial Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 607, Snyder, Texas 79550
