Jake Angerstein, an incoming 8th grader at Early Middle School, placed 1st in the West Texas Junior Champions Tour in Kerrville on July 31 – Aug. 1st.

Angerstein shot an even first round of 70 and 2nd round of 72 for a combined 2-day score of 142.  Eight Birdie shots and 18 Par shots helped Jake stay well ahead of the other 9 players in the boys 12-13 division.

Angerstein looks forward to playing in some fall/winter tournaments so he can continue working on his golf game year round.
