The City of Brownwood Parks and Recreation Department announced closing dates for city pools and updated schedule for hours of operation.

Wiggins Pool – Last day to be open for the season will be Thursday August 7th.

Camp Bowie Family Aquatic Center – Schedule will change to one session per day starting August 5th thru Aug 10th which will be the last day for the Aquatic Center to be open.

Hours of operation will be as follows:

Monday August 4th     –   CLOSED

Tuesday August 5th       –  1:00 pm to 6:00 pm

Wednesday August 6th  –  1:00 pm to 6:00 pm

Thursday August 7th     –  1:00 pm to 6:00 pm

Friday August 8th         –  1:00 pm to 6:00 pm

Saturday August 9th      – 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm

Sunday August 10th       –  1:00 pm to 6:00 pm

Lap swimming will continue 7:00 am to 8:30 am (1 ½ hours) Tuesday through Fridays.  The lap swimming area will be the only area of the pool open during these hours – none of the other features of the pool will be open. Standard admission rates will apply.
